The legislative session has adjourned — but the work continues. This week: a landmark bill on the Governor’s desk that needs her signature, a free resource coming this summer for church leaders, and what happens next in the election season.
SB 552 Has Passed — Now Governor Ayotte Must Sign It
SB 552 — legislation clarifying that public entities are not forbidden from differentiating between the biological sexes in athletic competitions, prisons, locker rooms, restrooms, and places of intimate privacy — has passed both chambers of the New Hampshire Legislature and is now on Governor Kelly Ayotte’s desk. The Senate passed it 16-8, and the House followed with a vote of 179-159. This is a significant win for common sense, and it would not have happened without the advocacy of Cornerstone supporters across New Hampshire.
The need for this legislation is real. Male bullies who identify as girls have used access to locker rooms to harass and degrade their female classmates. Yet agencies and administrators have falsely claimed that New Hampshire prohibits all biological sex separation outside of athletics — leaving girls and their parents out in the cold. SB 552 puts that false claim to rest.
The bill contains simple, straightforward language defining biological sex as “the male and female biological sexes.” And Granite Staters support it: a New Hampshire Journal and Praecones Analytica poll found that 74% believe biological sex separation should be permitted in restrooms and locker rooms, and 59% believe it should be permitted in school sports.
The safety of New Hampshire women and girls depends on this bill being signed into law. Please contact Governor Ayotte this week and urge her to sign SB 552.

The Filing Period Has Closed — Here Is What Comes Next
New Hampshire’s candidate filing period closed on Friday, June 12. If you filed — thank you. It takes courage and conviction to step forward, and the work you are about to do matters enormously for the future of our state.
The primary is Tuesday, September 8, and the general election follows on November 3. The election season is just beginning, and there is much you can do to support candidates who share our values between now and then.
Candidate Survey. We will soon be sending our candidate survey to all those who have filed for the New Hampshire legislature. The survey helps voters understand where candidates stand on the issues that matter most to New Hampshire families — life, religious liberty, parental rights, and more. We encourage candidates to respond promptly and thoroughly.
