Save the Date — General Election
Tuesday, November 3, 2026
The primary is concluded — now it’s time to prepare for the general. Our final endorsement list for the general election is coming soon, so keep an eye out for that announcement.
Until then, don’t forget to review our scorecard for the 2025-2026 incumbents. If you know your incumbent representative or senator is on the ballot, pay particular attention to how they scored on our issues.
Absentee Ballot Information
If you will need to vote absentee, here’s what you want to know:
- Complete an Absentee Ballot Application and return it to your local clerk with required proof of identity. Find your clerk’s contact info at the Voter Information Lookup.
- After applying, use the Voter Information Lookup to track your ballot — when your clerk received your request, when the ballot was sent, and when your completed ballot was returned.
- Mail request deadline: 12:00 p.m. the day before the election (November 2).
- Mail return deadline: Your ballot must be received by your clerk no later than 5:00 p.m. on Election Day. We recommend requesting yours no later than two weeks prior to the election, so that you can ensure it is returned by the week before Election Tuesday.

A Note on New Hampshire Right to Life
Cornerstone supporters who follow our pro-life advocacy may have noticed mounting negative attacks on Cornerstone by the group New Hampshire Right to Life, or “NHRTL.” While Cornerstone has ignored these attacks for the past year, they are not stopping. Unfortunately, it’s necessary that we address the situation publicly.
NHRTL, like Cornerstone, has existed for a long time. Under previous leadership, NHRTL worked productively with Cornerstone. Our Executive Director, Shannon McGinley, even designed NHRTL’s current logo.
While NHRTL’s logo has remained the same, however, its personnel have changed. NHRTL’s current president has routinely sought to differentiate NHRTL from Cornerstone by engaging in divisive attacks and spreading misinformation about our advocacy.
In 2024, Cornerstone led the charge for a successful expansion of New Hampshire’s safe haven law — including the creation of a “baby box” option in New Hampshire law. Although the bill passed, NHRTL’s president reached out to legislators in an unsuccessful attempt to undermine the bill, falsely claiming it would harm babies.
Last year, Cornerstone advocated for a poll-tested 15-week abortion restriction. After initially working with Cornerstone on the bill, NHRTL sowed confusion by changing its position numerous times.
NHRTL eventually opposed the bill outright, claiming that Cornerstone was legitimizing early-term abortion by advancing a 15-week restriction. As Cornerstone worked to organize pro-life activists to attend a hearing, NHRTL’s president contacted them to falsely claim the hearing had been canceled and suppress turnout.
More recently, Cornerstone played a leading role in organizing pregnancy resource centers to support a House-passed PRC protection bill. Attempting to undermine our relationships with PRCs, NHRTL dishonestly claimed that Cornerstone was working to stop the bill.
While we will not claim to see into the hearts of NHRTL or its leadership, it’s important for you to be aware that New Hampshire Right to Life is — unfortunately — no longer a reliable source of information on life-related bills or candidates. We encourage pro-lifers to contact us with any questions.
