CONCORD, NH – Today, Cornerstone Action identified over $100,000 in contributions from special interest gay lobby funds on Governor Lynch’s recently disclosed campaign finance report. Lynch traveled to Chicago in May as the guest speaker for “Political OutGiving,” which the Washington Blade described as a “closed-door conference of wealthy LGBT [lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender] political donors.”
Following that meeting, large contributions from prominent gay activists began flowing into Lynch’s coffers, according to records available via the campaign’s filing with the New Hampshire Secretary of State’s Office.
Commenting on this news that Lynch had taken such a high percentage of his campaign funds from this small radical lobby, was Cornerstone Action Executive Director, Kevin Smith:
“It’s now obvious that Governor Lynch has completely sold out to the out-of-state radical gay rights lobby. He has traded his campaign promises and integrity for cash, ignoring the wishes of New Hampshire citizens along the way. It’s been clear that ‘Lynch Lied’, but at least now we know how much it costs to buy his support.
Apparently anyone who wants to get John Lynch to flip-flop on an issue only needs to have $100,000 on hand to have their way.”
According to campaign filings, Lynch received the following amounts from gay rights activists:
