Support Legislation to Advance Life-Affirming Care in the Granite State
👉Act now: sign in in support of HB 701.👈
Currently before the House HHS committee, HB 701 is an important bill that will make New Hampshire the best jurisdiction in the country for clinical trials and right-to-try for patients with life-threatening illnesses.
HB 701 seeks to expand and reinforce New Hampshire’s pre-existing Right to Try law. Rather than shutting doors to possible cures, the government should support patients who are fighting for their lives with access to potentially life-saving experimental treatments.

Protect Churches from Discrimination and Unjust Taxation
Last week, the Senate Ways and Means Committee held a public hearing on SB 291, a much-needed bill to protect churches from discrimination and ensure that they can operate without being burdened by unjust taxation measures.
Additionally, the bill strengthens New Hampshire’s zoning protections for churches, ensuring that those providing rental housing on their property are protected from unfair zoning discrimination.
In her gubernatorial campaign platform, Gov. Kelly Ayotte stated a key way to solve the housing crisis in New Hampshire is to empower churches and religious organizations to provide more housing. This bill removes one key roadblock to realizing that vision.
WHAT YOU CAN DO:
⛪️ Organize your churches to support the bill, and contact the committee. Please ask your pastor or priest specifically to contact the committee and ask them to vote OTP (Ought to Pass) on SB 291.

Oppose the Senate’s Pro-Abortion Deception Bill
On Thursday, the Senate is expected to pass SB 36, purportedly an “abortion statistics” bill. In reality, this bill has been drafted by lobbyists for the abortion industry. In its current form, SB 36 will let abortion industry publish completely fabricated statistics in official DHHS reports.
New Hampshire is one of only 4 states in America that does not collect abortion statistics—and Cornerstone has been calling for an abortion statistics law since 2004.
The abortion industry is now attempting to exploit pro-lifers’ desire for statistics with this deceptive bill, written directly by paid lobbyists for Planned Parenthood and unanimously supported by Senate Democrats.
Under SB 36, abortionists will never face any consequences for willfully submitting manufactured statistics, which DHHS will then publish as true.
In theory, the bill’s penalty is a $100 fine to be imposed by DHHS. Yet our Patients’ Bill of Rights contained a similar, $2,000 DHHS fine. Dartmouth openly and flagrantly violated the law for six months—and DHHS never imposed any penalty.
Many examples show that, on polarizing cultural issues, New Hampshire’s left-wing state agencies will simply never impose an administrative penalty under any circumstances.
For this reason, an abortion statistics law requires—at minimum—a misdemeanor penalty for willful violations. Without a working enforcement mechanism, this bill will produce pro-abortion propaganda—not factual statistics.
Because it was written by Planned Parenthood lobbyists, the bill is also full of other weasel clauses. For example, the bill does not require that abortionists report the actual gestational age of the child. Even Massachusetts still requires abortionists to report the child’s gestational age.
The function of this bill is to give the abortion lobby special government privileges, favoritism enjoyed by no other sector of the medical field, and the ability to use DHHS to lie to the public. For this reason, Cornerstone strongly opposes SB 36. Tell your senators to vote against this pro-abortion deception bill.
Support Expanded Legal Remedies for Constitutional Rights Violations
Last week, the House Judiciary Committee heard testimony on HB 614, an important piece of legislation that addresses past constitutional rights violations in New Hampshire.
Currently under New Hampshire case law, you can receive a remedy in court if your constitutional rights are going to be violated in the future or are currently being violated in an ongoing way. However, if any of your constitutional rights were violated in the past, and the violation is over, the justice system can provide no assistance.
HB 614 seeks to rectify this discrepancy by asserting that if your constitutional rights were violated in the past, you still have recourse to having that violation addressed in the court system.
WHAT YOU CAN DO:
📩 Please contact the House Judiciary Committee and ask them to vote OTP (Ought to Pass) on the bill. You can email the committee here.

Oppose Assisted Suicide Coming to New Hampshire
🚨 Act now: contact the House Judiciary Committee to oppose HB 254.
The House Judiciary Committee is currently considering HB 254, relative to options for end of life care, a dangerous bill that would legalize physician-assisted suicide for those facing an illness which a physician has determined would likely be terminal within 6 months.
During the public hearing on HB 254, we heard powerful personal testimonies in opposition to HB 254 from members of the disability, suicide prevention, and brain injury communities, faith leaders, and more.
WHAT YOU CAN DO:
HB 254 has been scheduled for an executive session Monday, March 3.
During an executive session, the committee will vote to recommend the bill as OTP (ought to pass) or ITL (inexpedient to legislate). There is no opportunity for public testimony during this session.
❌ We urge you to contact the House Judiciary Committee to register your opposition to the bill and urge them to vote ITL on HB 254.
