Protect Churches from Discrimination and Unjust Taxation
👉Act now: sign in in support of SB 291.👈
SB 291 is a much-needed bill to protect churches from discrimination and ensure that they can operate without being burdened by unjust taxation measures.
The bill aims to address the current unfair overtaxation of churches by broadening New Hampshire’s church tax exemption to include housing on church property when used for church employees, residential programs, or as part of the church’s religious mission.
Additionally, the bill strengthens New Hampshire’s zoning protections for churches, ensuring that those providing rental housing on their property are protected from unfair zoning discrimination.
In her gubernatorial campaign platform, Gov. Kelly Ayotte stated a key way we should solve the housing crisis in New Hampshire is by empowering churches and religious organizations to provide more housing.

Support Expanded Remedies for Constitutional Rights Violations
👉 Act now: sign in in support of HB 614.👈
HB 614 is an important piece of legislation that addresses past constitutional rights violations in New Hampshire.
Currently under New Hampshire case law, you can receive a remedy in court if your constitutional rights are going to be violated in the future or are currently being violated in an ongoing way. However, if any of your constitutional rights were violated in the past, and the violation is over, you cannot receive a remedy.
In its proposed legislation, HB 614 seeks to remedy this issue by asserting that if your constitutional rights were violated in the past, you still have recourse to a remedy.
This bill applies to every constitutional right, from the right to freedom of speech, to the right to bear arms, to the right to freedom of religion.
WHAT YOU CAN DO:
⏰ HB 614 has been scheduled for a public hearing Wednesday, February 12, at 3:15pm in the House Judiciary Committee, LOB 206-209.

Incorruptible Thirteen: Only 13 NH GOP Reps Stood Against Late-Term Abortion

Yesterday, these 13 Republican representatives courageously used their vote to uphold the sanctity of human life, withstanding massive pressure from House Republican leadership to turn their backs on preborn babies and oppose a moderate 15-week bill, HB 476:
Rep. Barbara Comtois – Belknap 7
Rep. Gary Daniels – Hillsborough 43
Rep. Susan DeRoy – Strafford 3
Rep. Diane Kelley – Hillsborough 32
Rep. Katelyn Kuttab – Rockingham 17
Rep. David Nagel – Belknap 6
Rep. Jeanine Notter – Hillsborough 12
Rep. Kelley Potenza – Strafford 19
Rep. Katherine Prudhomme-O’Brien – Rockingham 13
Rep. Jennifer Rhodes – Cheshire 17
Rep. John Sellers – Grafton 10
Rep. Shane Sirois – Hillsborough 32
Rep. Len Turcotte – Strafford 4
Despite overwhelming pressure to defend late-term abortion, these 13 leaders bravely placed their status and ambition on the line – putting their conscience, their constituents, and New Hampshire’s preborn babies first.
They truly represented the pro-lifers who have been politically marginalized by the NHGOP and championed the most vulnerable Granite Staters – even though the latter can’t promise them anything in return.
