👉 Act now: sign in in support of HB 476.👈
HB 476, a 15-week limit on abortion, has been scheduled for an important hearing in the House Judiciary Committee, on Monday, January 27, 9:30 am in the Legislative Office Building, rooms 206-208.
With leading NH Republicans pushing to extinguish the pro-life cause from the NH GOP, this hearing will decide if the pro-life movement will reach the end of the line or survive to fight another day. If these Republicans are successful, it is unlikely that any abortion restriction—no matter how moderate—will be entertained again in New Hampshire.
We, our churches, and our communities must all speak now, or any meaningful protections for our vulnerable pre-born will be a dim memory. If you have ever thought of speaking out, speak now before it’s too late.
As the far-left rapidly mobilizes against life, the current online sign ins in opposition to the bill far outnumber those in support. (See image below). Pre-born life in the Granite State needs the help of our supporters now.
WHAT YOU CAN DO:
✍️ With just a few days remaining, we urge you to register your support of HB 476 as introduced by signing in. The process of signing in takes a minute or less. You can find step-by-step instructions here.
⏰ Note: Please sign in in support of the 9:30 am hearing, not the 11:00 am hearing.
❌ Unfortunately, an amendment has been filed that would change this bill entirely, making it a statistics collection bill rather than an abortion limitation bill. When you sign in to support the bill, please indicate your opposition to this amendment using the testimony text box.
⛪️ Organize your churches and Christian community groups to sign in and contact their representatives. Please ask your pastor or priest specifically to call your state representatives.
📣 We strongly urge you to attend the hearing and testify in person, especially if you fall under or know someone who falls under any of the following categories:
- A physician
- A post-abortive mother or father
- A pro-life woman of any age
- A pastor or other minister of a church
We have step-by-step instructions on how to testify here. You can also reach out to us at cornerstone@nhcornerstone.org if you have any questions about the testifying process.
📍The Legislative Office building, where the hearing will be held, can be found at 33 N State St, Concord, NH 03301.
