CONCORD- It was announced yesterday that Texas Senator Wendy Davis will be coming to Washington, DC next week to host a fundraiser for a select few Democratic senators. One of these senators is our very own Jeanne Shaheen.
Senator Davis is well-known for her long filibuster on the Senate floor in Texas regarding the 20 week abortion ban bill. Her radical and progressive agenda is abhorrent.
“It is disheartening that Senator Shaheen is proudly aligning herself with Senator Davis’ radical agenda when it comes to the topic of abortion. Shame on Senator Shaheen for not speaking out on this issue and for her terrible record when it comes to protecting innocent life,” said Ashley Pratte, Executive Director of Cornerstone Policy Research and Cornerstone Action.
