School Choice Measures Adopted Over Governor’s Veto

June 27, 2012

HB 1607 and SB 372 were both passed in Concord today, as the House and Senate overrode Gov. Lynch’s vetoes.

Cornerstone is proud to stand with the many New Hampshire parents and legislators who worked so diligently to pass these school choice bills, which will benefit students all over the state. Families meeting the guidelines of the law will be able to seek scholarship assistance as they determine whether to choose public, private, or home schooling to benefit their children.  Business owners who want to support school-choice scholarships will get a tax credit for doing so. This groundbreaking legislation is good news for New Hampshire families.
